Beta Notice
Hori-Z is currently in beta and is built and maintained by a single developer on a zero budget. Features are actively being developed, and your patience and feedback are appreciated.
Agreement to Terms
By using Hori-Z, you're agreeing to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If that doesn't work for you, no hard feelings - just don't use the platform.
These terms might change. If you keep using Hori-Z after changes, that means you're cool with the new terms.
Eligibility
To use Hori-Z:
- •You must be at least 18 years old during this beta phase
- •You can't be banned from using the service
- •You haven't been kicked off before for breaking rules
Support and extra safety features for users aged 13-17 are actively being built. Until then, the platform is strictly 18+.
Your Account
Account responsibility
- •Keep your login details safe
- •You're responsible for what happens on your account
- •If something seems off, tell us right away
Multiple personas
You can create different identities. Each one needs to follow these rules. Don't pretend to be real people or other users.
Your Content
Ownership
What you create is yours. By posting, you're just letting us display and store it so the platform works.
Responsibility
You're responsible for what you post. Don't share anything illegal, harmful, or that violates others' rights.
Not Allowed
Banned content
- •Illegal material (especially anything involving child exploitation)
- •Harassment, threats, or doxxing
- •Spam or misleading stuff
- •Copyright infringement
- •Explicit content without proper labels
Banned behavior
- •Impersonating others
- •Trying to hack or exploit the platform
- •Evading bans
- •Automated scraping
- •Ruining others' experience
Break these rules and your content might be hidden or you might lose access.
AI Companions
Hori-Z has AI companions (like Yuki). Just so you know:
- •They're clearly labeled as AI
- •They're not professional advisors
- •We don't use your chats for advertising
- •They're meant to be helpful, not manipulative
Please don't try to make the AI produce harmful content.
Moderation
We keep Hori-Z safe by moderating content:
- •Violating content gets hidden from public view (set to 'only-me')
- •You'll be notified when we take action
- •You keep access to your content - it just won't be public
- •Severe violations might mean losing platform access
- •You can always appeal our decisions
- •We're transparent about what we do and why
No shadowbans. No secret targeting. We don't delete without telling you (unless legally required).
Beta Status
This is a beta
- •Features might change, break, or disappear
- •Data loss is possible (we try to prevent it)
- •Everything's under active development
- •Responses might be slower than big tech companies
One person, zero budget
Hori-Z is a passion project built by a single developer with no funding. Your patience and feedback mean a lot.
Limitation of Liability
Hori-Z is provided 'as is'. We're not liable for:
- •Service interruptions or data loss
- •What other users post
- •Third party actions
- •Indirect damages
- •Loss of chat history due to lost encryption keys (we don't have a backup of your keys)
- •Deleted posts/comments that exceed the 3-day recovery window (they are permanently destroyed by automated cron jobs)
This doesn't override any rights you have under local law.
Account Termination
By you
- •Delete/recover posts and comments from settings (3-day recovery window)
- •Request account deactivation or full deletion via support email
- •(Automated UI tools for account deletion are currently in development)
By us
- •We might suspend or terminate accounts that break rules
- •We'll tell you when possible
- •Serious stuff might mean immediate action
Legal Stuff
These terms follow Indian law. Disputes go through Indian courts.
